About Us
Every student is required to take core science classes such biology, chemistry and anatomy in school. Most classroom instruction does not prioritize skills related to scientific reasoning, investigation and problem-solving.

To encourage and inspire more students to become the next generation of bio-science leaders, health professionals and change agents, science instruction in school must be made relevant, meaningful and skill-based.
This is where we come in!

We are a cohort of passionate high school bio-science students committed to improving the way all students think about, engage and interact with biology and health sciences in and out of school.
Our Leadership Goals
As the next generation of bio-science leaders, we plan, design and lead during-school and after-school project-based workshops for students in middle school and high school. Our carefully designed workshops, featuring interactive labs, hands-on activities, meaningful projects and competitions aim to make bio-sciences REAL and RELEVANT.
Our vision is that students will gain interest and appreciation for the relevance of biological sciences. Additionally, our workshops support the development of scientific reasoning and problem solving skills necessary to excel in upper-level Bio-science classes and real world labs.
Our Workshops at a Glance
We hope to bring our workshops not only to our middle school, but to all interested schools and groups of students. Through our leadership, we hope to inspire and empower the next generation of Bio-science leaders.

Mentors
With the increase in demand for STEM and healthcare career professionals, it is important that schools offer innovative and meaningful science curriculum that aims to develop and advance students’ scientific reasoning and problem solving skills.
Unfortunately, due to our nation's standardized testing system, most science instruction in middle and high schools prioritize content mastery and factual retention. For students who aspire to become the next generation of scientists and researchers, they do not know about nor possess the skill sets to be successful.

As our nation's 65 and over population projects to double over the next three decades, the need for health professionals, Bio-science leaders and researchers as well increases.
Waiting until college to develop passion and skill sets for Bio-science careers is simply too late, and most students who wait end up changing majors.
We must revolutionize science instruction today as early as elementary school, but at the latest high school.
